Just having a browse through the C6R files (tyres and hdv), saw a couple of parameters I'm not sure we've seen before... but could be wrong... HDV: [BODYAERO] RoadModifierMults=(0.5,0.6) // effect of aerodynamics on (marble_removal,water_removal) as a product of speed^2 The .tbc has the roadgripeffects all together on one line rather than separate for groove, marble, dampness, and wetness, but also has a RoadModifierMults with 4 values.. not sure... ? Tyres: GrooveEffects=(0.098,0.098,0.081,0.055) GrooveSqrdEffects=(0,0,-0.007,-0.015) (first line is usual... just showing the comparison) Presumably these values are multiplied by the current groove (0.0 - 1.0)^2, in this example reducing the micro- and macro-deformation a little as the rubber builds up...
Schweeet.... I like how most people are driving and you're scavenging... I am too... Why is the GTR2 mas locked and not gmts or phys files?
But very cool how the aero apparently now has a direct (defineable) effect on reduction of marbles/water of the RealRoad
Yeah, I know Just pointing out the .tbc has 4 values in one line for the road modifiers, not sure what they correspond to. The GrooveSqrdEffects is in the .TGM. Yeah, I didn't expect the physics to be open but I'll take it lol Have to admit I do feel a bit weird when something comes out and people are doing laps testing and reporting back... and I go and pull the files out and compare them to see what's new...
Yeah, Tires are a major obstacle for me in my stock car, no point in continuing until I can get the stock car tire.
