Hi, in build 982 the headlight are not lighting the tarmac, but only all the off track object (including curbs). We was testing on our mod cars when we see the issue, but I tested on the ISI C6R GT2 to check, and same issue. I think there is a regression on this point. It's a show stopper for our mods because they are for Endurance races ... So our Night tests are stopped pending the fix of this issue Two screenshots to show the lights are not doing the job correctly:
Yes, i have tried to get an official statement about that HERE, also. The only way to get rid of it, at the moment, seems to be, to use Build 946 again.
Ok, great, I missed you subject, so it's the same issue. Is ISI confirmed that will be fixed in next build?
A while back Tim was talking about mods needing adjustments to their lights to work with the new tonemapper, look it up for more info.
It's not linked to this, I changed all the values possible (elevation, intensity, orientation, color, ...) on the light, and nothing solve the issue. So it's a game issue on b982.
Unfortunately, i haven't seen any announcement that is related to the light-issue. And i agree, to say that it is a bug and has nothing to do with changing some settings or can be solved by the user.
It's working here. It should light further but it works. Tested with ISI Corvette and with URD Darsche. View attachment 17595 View attachment 17596
Not working, the light at front of the car shall be visible during 300 meters, not only 2 meters at front
Ok, understand, the feature light is working, yes, but very bad, the diffuse of the light on the tarmac is not well done compared to previous builds, and it's impossible to drive with this condition on b982. That is the issue to solve by ISI.
lol I'm not saying it's good, I'm just saying it's better at Portugal than at Silverstone. I'm not either satisfied with it. OP said it doesn't work at all. I said it works but not as it should.
