Hi All, Im a new user, i just purchased Rfactor 2, i have build 982, I have downloaded a different car and installed it but when i go into single player there is only the 2 demo cars What have i missed?
Click on series Click on the demo Vmod (it's a little file that only makes use of the demo content) Unistall it. Have fun
Hmmm, could it be you haven't saved your login when you fire up the launcher? Do you have credentials on the My Documents/AppData/roaming/.rFactor folder? All files should be .rfcmp and you can place them in the game folder or elsewhere, as long as you point to it using the path in the lower area of the Content tab (the open box) in the launcher.
Thanks guys, I will look at those today, I'm pretty sure I have all required permission since its my own computer. So if I uninstall the demo content will that force rfactor to recognise the cars and tracks I have installed?
I don't know how the demo works but try uninstalling it and then installing the Build 946 Lite Installer. That could be it then, I don't think the demo picks up any content and it isn't unlockable after purchase.
