historic and present version are the same except for some curbs and run off areas. It's one of the few tracks that haven't not been neutered.

Anyway, as far as "serious testing" is concerned, I've seen it like that in the past. Doesn't mean much to be honest. Something new could be out tomorrow or 4 weeks from now.

The track is wider now (I don't know by how much, but it is), and the asphalt runoffs : yuk

The hill before turn 8 was shaved down a bit, too. My local track--would love to see both historic and modern versions!

Oh, Jamie, you don't know your Mosport history very well!

Mosport paving used to be only 28' wide. Now it is 40' wide. Original track had no pit wall, guardrail was added in 1965, upgraded to wall sometime in the '70s. The hill on the long back stretch was cut down about 10'-12' around 1990. Pit exit/entrance extended in the '70s.

And then there are the buildings...

A classic! I was just there a couple of weeks ago for the IMSA race. Good spectator improvements at the track. Yes there is more paved runoff area, but I didn't think the actual racing surface width had changed much. It used to be my local track too. I can't remember how many times I have been there since my first visit in 1969! What is nice about the modern track is the improved pit lane, wider and with more pit stalls. This would be a great track for endurance races provided enough pit boxes are included.

Modern only = big mistake ; not to mention needless licensing expense ; just the thought of modern only makes me nauseous

I hope they don't forget to fix the "BoostEffects" variable in next build.

I live here few times a year :)
Great spectator track. No bad spot anywhere around this track.

Maybe ISI is getting ready for these :)

I've been on this track in F2000s in 2005 (or was it 2006? ahhh). Would be great if this could be reproduced with as much detail to the physics as possible. There are many little track anomlies all over the track. Not just the generic sim-"bump" thrown in here and there.

I have a hard time seeing the difference between the modern version of the track and the video you posted.

That was basically my point. There isn't some massive difference, the layout is exactly the same. Sure it may be wider now, has curbs and some runoff areas but it isn't like 60s Spa vs modern day Spa. ;)

    CTMP has not been neutered.
