This question is very important due several reasons, I'd be glad to have this answer too. Thanks for Devs for this new version.
It appears to be just on a Green track as you say, I've just watched and once the track rubbers in they make the corner after a lock up with no more spinning (50% agg). Simple answer is to let the track rubber in, you could try AI Learning to see if they helps them in that area.
I got confirmation from ISI that the wet parameter is obsolete quite a while ago. It was in a thread somewhere related to wet weather effects on tyres. A few track releases after that still had it in there, but the last one (or two) have correctly removed it. What matters now is the... er... Roughness param? Not at my PC right now. So smoother surfaces will logically get more slippery in the wet. *here's the thread... note I'm not sure if the tyre parameters mentioned are current. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/22550-Does-wet-actually-do-anything
This imo was a really good track, understated, well worth updating ! I hope it get the precognition it deserves
Don't like the antiseptic look compared to the realism of the earlier version, but thanks for fixing all the various graphics glitches and problems--without a drop in performance. There is no gain, either, but I was concerned performance would drop with the newer higher quality components and features.
It's easy with a nice track! If you want to survey Circuit Zolder ^^ : I'm doing some trackday laps this Wednessday. I can take you with me to do some laps...
Track looks great now I did like the old version a lot aswell. Somehow the background mountains make it look special here IMO. Thx!
2 Hours with F3.5 and then an hour online with DW12. The surface is fantastic... There were multiple grooves to be found and the bumps are manageable whichever one you choose. The new grip levels are absolutely spot on, so thanks to whoever worked on that. The two end points, green and heavy feel so naturally good, as does the transitioning between them. Off-groove seemed natural as well when overtaking, often providing that slight whiff of a front right lock up. I tried to adjust ride height for the kerbs on turn 8 in the Dallara before realising that futility. I'm keen to see if they can be exploited further with a tintop though. We pushed, these guys and I in the Indy... Tosch, Kuraken, Elbo. 23s, 22s, 21s. Kuraken pulls a 19.9 from lord knows where. I'd set the car to wheelspin just a smidgen in 4th coming out of the final turn, so I've some room to maneuver come the race Everyone was easy into turn one, bar one guy. That was enough to upset the apple cart which took out Tosch and gave me a slight bit of damage that has the steering askew. It's braking fine, so I push on. The final turn... after a few laps, developed some push due to the damage and the scrubbing was overheating the front left. Game over for this round, but boy oh boy... I'll be back. Like a lot of people here, this track is a favourite haunt and this version has captured the dynamics and the essence that I'd hoped it would. I could only ask for one thing more with this track... 1993!
Dunno... looking at the bunch of screenshots in the announcement some of those look like photos, at least until you click on them and see polys... to me that's a good sign for colour.
