Anyone noticed the minimum torque setting in FFB?

Dan, did you honestly just discover STM (steering torque minimum)? It's been added in the UI in the most recent build but has been otherwise part of the game (controller file) for probably a year or two, and is one of the most mentioned things in just about any and every FFB thread around...

I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned to you by various people (including myself) quite a few times in various posts regarding FFB.

Just curious because I was a little gobsmacked when I read the OP.

Anyways 3.5 is usually a decent amount for all cars with a T500RS. Set the T500RS to 72% (not 60% which is it's apparent "true" 100% value) as 72% is apparently the mist linear and best FFB value for the T500RS according to some tests I read online.

 

yes I know its in the json file, but ive never noticed it in the UI.

I cant see the FFB minimum torque in my controls menu... any idea??
I use the RD UI.... that shouldnt make a difference should it?

 

It certainly could, the UI defines what is visible.

 

Rfactor 2's ffb is way above everything else out there IMO
