Porsche 911 - historic and American muscle cars

rF2 was released 3 year ago and no 911 yet. This is an absurd ! rF2 lacks a lot in cool street cars and historic cars and American muscle cars. Open your eyes rF2 or others Sims will soon take your place... and then will be too late ! you just have been warned !!!

Here's a little clue for ya. URD, Apex, Blancpain/BES.

 

There's also a fair few cars in rF2, which are, to my knowledge, not in any other game either. Swings and roundabouts.

 

rFactor 2 is a racing sim, so it only makes sense that dedicated race car content comes first and that's also what I prefer.

 

I used to think it's funny how people are so dependent on a single car for happiness...until they get it of course and then it'll be something else that will make them happy etc etc

Then I started to think that the problem was more widespread but then realized it's just douchebags in the forum.

 

By year's end we should have three total Porsche mods available - paid URD Endurance GT mod, free APEX 2012 FIA GT mod and the Flat 6 from EnduRacers.

It is not still in rF2, thus!

 

Paid URD is, free APEX 2012 isn't but there's a v.9 car available. At least you know it's coming and it's on the horizon.

 

OP seems to be looking for HISTORIC 911 + muscle cars (i.e. not pussy modern **** boxes)

Not exactly true, GTR was prequeled in F1-2001 and GTR 2002 Racing was released in F1-2002.

Between 2002 and F1Challenge Simbin pulled all modders work from their site, even skins to make way for GTR ........... nice.


Personally I always considered GTR 2002 better then F1C version.

Be warned, here the fanboys want ISI to have only one car to race with, no graphigs on the tracks exept on the road and imagine the physics through their DFGT..

 

Well other people have enhanced the OP's apparent lack of awareness of what's available.
As well as 3 current 911 mods and one pending RF2 has internationally significant historics both open wheel and sports cars and saloon cars.

So that leaves American Muscle cars. I guess its a personal viewpoint whether thats a game braking hole in the inventory.
Personally I'm about as interested in American Muscle cars as I am in snowmobile racing. Each to their own I guess.

So absurd is way to strong a term. Microscopic oversight maybe.
For me Quality over quantity all day long.
