Try to make my own pit lights, but they are acting really dumb. At first I couldn't get them to work at all, just the light no glows, so I added glows to see if they were necessary. Nothing. Tried using caps in my object names (PitGlowOut) instead of all lowercase, nothing. Added AI, and after a bit my green light came on along with the glow, and the yellow glow started flashing as cars came past, but the yellow light never changed. So I must have a setting wrong, right? They're identical. I even copied the material for the glow and reassigned the textures. Naturally I'm using the textures from the example Joesville, so they shouldn't be a problem. Looking further into it, my green light doesn't come on at session start until a car driving past triggers the yellow glow. Anyone with any ideas? Or an example I could work from?
Have you tried it in dev mode and single player? I've had issues with the lights in dev mode, but they worked fine in single player. Also, can you post a picture of your materials and objects?

Apparently they act dumb in testing mode weather it's in dev mode or in the retail version. Either that or the material can only be mapped to one face, but I don't think that was it. Either way they are working now if I setup a race weekend. Fingers crossed.
