I also get a drop on/around the S/F, I mean expected running triple screens with most things on FULL, but the strange thing is that the GPU usage remains around 70-80% when it drops. Similar to Sebring where I get drops on the S/F but the GPU usage is on 70% (Power Balance is on High Performance & NVI is on Prefer Maximum Performance).
I've recently left a Sli set-up for a single 980ti. I can't comment on other tracks as I have only been racing the new Suzuka circuits and Oulton Park (plus some questionable ports of Brands & Spa). On the others, when frames drop GPU usage is in the 80-90's%. As I said, on Oulton Park, the frame rates drop with 70% usage on S/F area (like sebring).
Just a question, is there anyone around, who can see the pink shiny on the safety car at the end of the pit lane, too? View attachment 20284
I'm going to check this. Just thought this car is from nfs underground 1. [emoji28] Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
Did you solve the problem juergen? Maybe deleting the shader files could solve the problem. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
Allready done, including complete new & fresh install rF2 & gfx driver. The problem exist on my AMD gfx system only, with nvidia i got the pink safety car not. //Edit: i want to add, that i guess it`s a problem of special shader, wich is used for some objects on this track: cube map specular map add greyscale reflection. Maybe not compatible with AMD...?
I have Pink p.c. Apart this, fantastic job, thank you! i5 + r9 280 here. Inviato dal mio SM-G800F utilizzando Tapatalk
Thank you for the new version! One of the best tracks for rfactor2. Unfortunately i have some rollover-issues with the AI BTCC-Cars on the International-Layout in the first chicane. Hadn´t these before in the previous version of the track (probably raced this Combo over 20 hours). My AI-Settings are: 118%(important for the AI lateral grip, 55 %agression) Not sure if it´s an issue with the track or the cars. Can somebody else confirm this? Best regards
Your ai aggression percentage is about twice as high as it should be. Around 25-30 percent is the recommened level for road courses.
Hello Hexagramme, the AI works very fine for me on this high agression-settings with the btcc cars (and also other cars as for example URD GTE or StockCars). They are aggressive but very rare ram me. Best regards EDIT: Meanwhile i have tested the issue with lower aggression settings (25 and 30%),to exclude the possibility that the high aggression settings cause the rollover, but also on this lower settings there were some rollovers in the first chicane.
For open wheelers maybe, I've always run high aggression with tin tops, 25-30 is far too low for the btcc. At Toban I run them at 80 and everything is great
Awesome track, big thanks! About the AI, I just did a quick race with ASR3 using 50% aggression, way higher than I usually use for open wheelers, and it was a blast. Really aggressive driving for the AI, still no mayhems. I started from the back and it was pure joy to watch the battles in front of me and exploit those and gain track position.
I am experiencing stutter/lag from the ai cars, it's like playing online using a weak connection but I am racing offline. FPS is ok though, getting 100 in clear air and over 60 in traffic. I thought it might just be the cars I was using (BTCC) but it did the same when I tried with the ISI Megane.
