I had the black screen bug with my 680, it still happens with my 970 albeit not very often.

I have zero problems with black screens since I changed the "TdrDelay" to 30 seconds.

    http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia-Geforce-700-Serie

    GKxxx is Kepler
    GMxxx is Maxwell

Geforce GTX Titan Z was the last Kepler card (May 28. 2014)
GTX 750 was the first Maxwell card (Feb 18. 2014)

GTX 770 here, I really can´t remember the driver number that I´ve installed last monday, but after install the new driver I got some massive FPS drops in AMP with the trackside camera, same anti aliasing settings. Yesterday I rolled back to the previous (can´t remember the numbers :D ) the FPS was rock solid. will test this one tonight.

As far as I know the last good driver (for Kepler) was 347.88. All 350's had a performance drop.

Yup, therefore the entire 700 series and Titan series besides the 745, 750, 750 Ti, and Titan X are, along with most or all of the 600 series, Kepler.

I was just a little confused at first because your OP only states the 600 series even though the 760, 770, 780, Titan, 780 Ti, Titan Black, and Titan Z are all Kepler as well.

Even though I’d only recently managed to get rF2 looking right, the prospect of more performance was too enticing and I rather stupidly took the plunge and updated to 353.06. Unfortunately, it’s been a complete disaster, deleting all my profiles and destroying rF2's visuals. Not only has the excessive brightness in HDR mode returned, but the overall image quality has been reduced, with a distinct loss of sharpness. This is most noticeable in the UI, where the text looks positively fuzzy.

Restoring 344.75 hasn’t cured the overall problem, but did sharpen up the images again, so I thought I might as well go back to 353.06 and see if I could cure the blurry look. I haven’t been able to though and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem (which only seems to affect rF2) and whether they know what settings I need to change to restore the visuals to their full crispness?

    I'm running a GTX760 in Windows 7 64-bit btw.

    Thanks

    353.30 is out ?

see Post #14 above............. scroll a page further in "the" Graphics driver thread.......

It runs fine, no issues for me. ;)

Why people keep putting individual driver threads here I will never understand.

( and I get called billy  )

I took the plunge with 353.06 and they work good for my 650 running rF2 FSX P3d and DCS. I usually get black screens every other driver version. The thing that bugs me is everyone on Guru3d run 1st person shooters, and when they rave about a driver (which is sort of rare) those are the ones that give me fits with black screens.
