Of course! I was just curious, because it was working without, just changed the value and it was there. Or did you meant, it`s working just with alt+=, without changing the value?

//Edit: ahhhhh, got it now, it`s just to hot here...

You said, change the value and THEN just switch it on or of with alt+= :D

//Edit2: However, i must change the value. For me alt+= isn`t working...

Uh, nah I'm pretty certain just Alt = brings it up eh. I wiped my JSON not too long ago, haven't touched it or edited any values.

Then again, it may be hot there, but it's 3am here...I could be wrong XD

On German keyboard its alt + `
Maybe it is also another combination for you? Just try alt + the key which is two keys to the right of "0" [emoji12]

For me, that's exactly the same key
Guessing German keyboards don't have = and + on the same key.

    You are correct.

But is there any way to change the location or size of the display?

Or even better, let's hope ISI builds the fancier read-out into the standard HUD tire wear and temp display.

12 posts relative to the activation of the TGM display widget.
In 13 pages three posts about the advanced tire model that no one could live without.
    Cheers.

You don't think the interest in the former is related to the latter? I sure do.

I am affraid you need an awful lot of things more to use correctly the new tires.
As usual, I could be wrong.
    Cheers Marc.

I've followed Cup cars only for about 11 or 12 years and just starting to get a slight understanding of all they do in car prep for a race. The handling of tire pressure has always been a mystery to me.

I have always noted that they put a lot of emphasis on using low tire pressure at start of a run (some teams more than others) but todays pre-race practice at Louden in New Hampshire was a new one on me. (Louden is a fairly flat, short track)

In 1st Practice, #78 - Martin Truex, started his first run at such a low tire pressure that he had a flat on an early practice lap (Which fouled everyone up, due to yellow flag). Also noted that #20 - Matt Kenseth, his crew chief wasn't satisfied to even start considering car changes until lap 10, that was lap number that no more speed advances could be made.

Now, I have run across a fairly simple, easy to read account from Joe Gibbs racing that explains some of tire study at a track.

    * just a thought.........I'm pretty sure that we will probably need at least another build, before seeing Gen 6 cars released. Knowing ISI, I wouldn't expect them until tire model is a little closer to what we need for ovals.

    Hi there
just tried the Dalara again on roadcourses and the ffb feels dead compared to any other car, even the imo weak modern F2 car feels much nicer now. Is there any magic adjustment beside increasing caster which degrades physics niveau below rfactor1?
    Logitech wheel here.

Hi rafnix, this subject was brought up when the car was released. I believe the reason is that the range of forces this car can produce means that the lower end FFB feels quite weak. The only thing I have done was to increase the FFB multiplier and/or increase the minimum force setting (Thrustmaster T500 here) . I think (but don't quote me on this) that one of the devs commented that they may look at offsetting the range of forces slightly to combat this.

I think its a symptom of logitech wheels with rF2. unless the new wheels have changed. I felt the exact same way with my g27.....never could get what i felt was detailed ,strong...ffb. Then i got lucky and found a used T500rs with less than 2 hours on it. WOW....what a HUGE difference. Complete night and day! LOVED my G27...and it gave me hundreds of great race hours...but it is showing its age now. :(
