Hi, all you GFX artists and track makers out there. Does anybody have the time and passion to show some serious love for the Macau Circuit? Especially the shadows need much love and some of the textures could too (especially at night times, they are not reflecting headlights sometimes). It's such a great track but it is not quite up to date with the rF2 standards. I'd really love to see this track in new shiny light if you can catch my drift. Please, please, please!!
it sure seems awfully close to up to date to me. drove it at my usual 5:00pm, clear...looks absolutely gorgeous to me? i have 0.71, i think i checked when i saw this thread & it was the most up to date i could find. drove it quite a bit in raceroom yesterday & just now with the honda btcc i found the rf2 driving experience superior. although the ai seems to have shortcomings in both, moreso in rf2 but i mayve had aggression to high...and it doesnt help that im terribly slow thru the twisty street sections; itll be a long time (never) before that becomes muscle memory.
the haze doesn't seem to bother me any, I'm going so fast through narrow corridors ( and watching walls go by a few feet away) theres not much lax time to worry 1/4 mile down the road. Really nice update.
Agree about the haze, fits the scene well for me (but could be rendered differently on different systems I suppose). I just can't stop driving the Clio against AI. Bread and Butter!
I just want to share some of my real life Macau impressions, when I was there last year with F3 ;-). I can tell you the city is quite hazy and Mr. Senorman again made an outstanding work for us rF2 fellows. The track is really something special and I hope this impressive work will find more attention in the simrace community. View attachment 17876
