Single card works fine for rF2 with the nVidia 350.12 drivers. When I use SLI and try to run rF2 it crashes back to the desktop. Did not have this with the 344.48 and 347.88 drivers...any ideas?
Wrong...with previous drivers I get excellent SLI performance...it seems to be a driver issue... Never had SLI problems with rF2 at all, which is a good thing, I must be lucky, cause I have heard a lot of problems for others.
Haha...yeh was thinking of doing it...unfortunately I have to satisfy AC, pCARS and GSCE with these, and then seem to be the only ones that run pCARS well.. rF2 has been collecting alot of dust lately.
I'd love to see a benchmark comparison between 1 GPU and SLI considering multiple versions, if not all versions, of the ISI engine (RF2, GSCE, etc.) are pretty-much "broken" when it comes to SLI, well, except with Nvidia 3D Vision where SLI works brilliantly.
I was getting about 50-60 FPS with a single card and about 65-80 FPS with SLI, used Monaco as my test track since its the most taxing on my system...
Those seem like extremely low numbers in general... What sort of GFX settings are you using? Are you using both in-game reflection settings at full? Are you using intensive GPU driver controlled AA like 8xSGSSAA + 8xMSAA, or 16xS AA or something?
My figures may be off, may actually be 10+ fps higher, will have to benchmark again with older drives. I run high settings, static reflections, shadows low, 4xAA, vsync ON. View attachment 16697 View attachment 16698
Fixed the crashing to desktop issue, see this thread: http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/gained-only-10-fps-with-sli-really.103756/#post-2006035 However SLI does not seem to be enabled...trying some SLI compatability bits settings to enable it now...
Ah, I see, yes it's possible to get a bit of positive SLI scaling the lower the two reflection settings are. Interesting link, thanks.
