This is a fresh install of rF2, and there were a few records from practice, qualifying and warmup sessions, which did show up correctly (including records). I deleted some of them using the r2la interface, but I may have deleted others manually when I ran into this problem. I'll go ahead and do a fresh install when I get home and I'll report back. Thanks again for your time, mate.
Yay! Fresh install of r2la did the trick, I was able to upload the log. Thanks for sorting me out, Nibo. So deleting results manually is not recommended, I guess? I see you create new folders (temp, no-time-set, etc.) when you use the UI to delete logs...I'll be sure to use that from now on, then.
Manually deleting should be ok as long as you press "refresh" in r2la after you manually deleted logs. But maybe something was broken in latest updates and this no longer works. You`ll be better off removing logs using r2la. That "temp\" folders are for "deleted" logs by r2la. So you can move them back (manually) if you removed something important by mistake.
Understood. I have another question, if you don't mind? I did some hotlaps in the Flat6 car (love driving that thing!) and all but one of my logs synced with the server. The one which fails to show is Palm Beach Intl Road Course. I have the updated version (v2.02) installed, is it a coincidence that it was updated just yesterday? The track name hasn't changed, only the installed folder. I tried another fresh install of r2la, but this time that didn't solve my problem!
Oh, track name did actually change, its "Palm Beach Intl Road Course", Int+l now. I will update hotlaps filter for next r2la update. Nothing you can do for now.
Oh ok, I had it completely the wrong way round then! The folder has the same name, I just found a backup of my car setups, and they show up in the installed folder. No problem mate, I appreciate your time and effort, thanks.
Starting tomorrow: 8 laps - Matsusaka West - Clio Cup 2010 8 laps - Palm Beach (new track, version 2.02) - Corvette ALMS GT2 2009 (C6R`09 GT2)
Next: 6 laps - Matsusaka International Circuit - Nissan GT-R GT1 I`ll try to add something else later, maybe some new mods will be out in upcoming weeks.
Hi Nibo, is it possible to clear the times from the flat 6 Hotlaps section? I like to have a go at those sometimes but I think I'm racing against times set with old physics.
I could remove old times from server, but they will be back as soon as someone with old times in their r2la presses "sync". To do it properly I additionally need to release new version of r2la, where I will block all old times by date. There are some other mods that can be released/updated soon, so I think I`ll wait with new r2la version 1-2 weeks.
Next, Endurance Series v1.0: 10 laps - ISI Interlagos - ES P2 Class (you can race any P2 car) 7 laps - ISI Silverstone - ES GTE Class (you can race any GTE car)
Challenges for December: 9 laps - Indianapolis 2014GP - USF2000 9 laps - Mills Inner Loop B - Caterham 7 6 laps - Malaysian Full Loop - ES_GTE (you can race any GTE car) 6 laps - Silverstone - ES_P2 (you can race any P2 car)
I propose some Australian proving grounds for the next challenge(s) if these will still be on-going: Barbagallo @ 12 laps, BTCC, or Megane or GT1/2/3 Oran Park @ 8 laps, Clio or Palatov or Skippy With the Steam sale, and new perks of buying rF2, I suspect there's many more new users who also might enjoy taking in your challenges...
Sorry, I was out with flu for 10 days... Next: 8 laps - Palm Springs Road Course A - USF2000 8 laps - Malaysian Full Loop - Nissan GT500 10 laps - Barbagallo - Megane 2013
Is it time for another challenge? If so, I re-submit my suggestion for Oran Park, or maybe Putnam Park. Also, since we just received a new gift, version 1.57 of the Palatov, I suggest that again too .
