Quallie starts 30 minutes later at 4:30pm (Arizona Time)
The race is 30 minutes long and starts at 5:00pm (Arizona Time)

The race is run with no damage enabled and with no flag rules... It's just for fun!

Hello Fellow Race Fans,

Well another week goes by, and I'm still trying to get things done... no time.

Anyways, this week's race will be held at Sardian Heights. It's a city street course for those who do not know.

The track is available through the server's Get Mod feature.

Hope to see the streets packed with '66-'68 F3 cars!

Hope you find some time to practice BB. This track is awesome in the F3's but you need to know it well...and have it dialed...or early exit...possibly death! lol Its def not a show up and race circuit.

 

Thankfully, I'm familiar with the circuit. By the way, it's the 250, or Long circuit.

And... Since, it's just 4 fun, damage is turned off.

The biggest problem I see will be with drivers that try to pass, at all costs. Watch for YELLOW FLAGS!

Howdy Race Fans!

Today's race is at Sebring, the 12hour course.

I forgot about the "flickering" and if I had remembered, I would have picked a different track.

"Flickering" refers to things like the start lights, Track Map gizmos, and the like.

The problem is built into the track. I can't change it.

I know that on my machine (two ATi R9 290s) I just turn on the frame rate counter (ctrl f) and the flickering stops.

I'm not so sure it's that easy to correct with nVidia cards. Or maybe it can't be fixed on machines running nVidia video cards.

I hope to see you all on the track, in about an hour! It's just about 3:00pm here, right now.

I'm really sorry I don't post here as often as I should... I'm a busy guy, these days.

Anyhow.... The Just 4 Fun series continues into 2016... Not bad for a 10 week series starting, well, a long time ago. In a land far, far away... Oh, I digress.

Race Weekend starts at 11:00pm London time. 4pm Arizona time. Practice 30 minutes. Quallie 30 minutes. 5 minute warmup. 30 minute race.

Location is the F3 Fanatics!s server.

January 16, 2016.

Today/Tonight/Tomorrow morning's race will be held at Carolina Motorsports Park.

It's a fun, short layout. Better suited for the Sparks.

Practice starts at 4:00 PM Arizona time. I believe that to be 11:00 PM London time.

Hey... Sorry to those who came to the race only to find that the host pulled a no show.

I had no access to the internet yesterday. ISP lost a tower (I have wireless DSL).

I will be running the same event next weekend.
