Issue in developing a car

    Can't seem to find anything and I can't see any texture when in the race mode so it seems to be that the texture doesn't load in any mode bar practice.

    You shouldn't use the name of the material for the FISI. Most of your issues are probably because you are using names that are already in use.

    I also fear that most of your problems are "housemade".
    When i would take an existing mod, which i want to modify, i would as first start with:
    - rename ALL folders/files, inludes gmt and textures too!
    - change ALL material-names
    - change menu/team names
    ...
    What i mean is, take care that there will be no same things from the original left, to avoid problems if both are installed.

    redapg (or anybody else...) did you know a possibility, to rename all the GMT Materials and Pathes in one Batch?

    "No" for the materials. But it don't lasts long to rename them. :)

    And for renaming files i use Lupas . It's an older program but still works.


    Maybe it won't help with your wing problem.
    But as said, renaming everything, makes sure that you don't get problems caused by 2 different things using same name/material.

    In case of the wing, there must be something wrong with your material/properties settings.
    I still suspect the pivot point from your modified or one of the other gmt, that are listed in the gen's wing section.

    And i think you will agree, that it is not normal that you have to move an object to a wrong position in 3DSimEd, to make it show up at the right position in game.

    it's not the wing problem im trying to sort out any longer, it's the texture issue

    Not sure about your texture problem but for the position of pivot you might want to, make sure pivot is at 0,0,0 then reset xform modifier, collapse and re-export the wing, in some cases this (I think) can fix uv mapping probs as well.
