Hi chappielike, I had to do FOV of about 25-28 and it's still is a bit too small. I know the real thing was quite tiny but this just feels a bit underdone. Cheers.
I cant drive it in cockpit, I get a gray screen @1440p. I know its the fov, my helmet is inside the rollbar. I have to choose the cartop view. Also, testing this car on Indianapolis oval results in not being able to go above 3rd gear. If I choose 4th I get a huge drop in speed. Even if I change gear ratios. I have tried the indy car setup (in tuning menu) and speedway and both cause my speed loss. The car should at least go to the top of 5th without a draft. As this is so bad, I qualify 11 seconds slow. Top speed is 181, which is bad @ indy 500. @Paul Todd, that is just the soft wall and hard wall together. Its like that in real life for Nascar.
The video you posted is Kentucky speedway, try indianapolis oval (isi track) I am also at 2560x1440 resolution. The gray screen seems to have fixed itself. But I am at a loss as to why the car is slow @indy oval.
I'm getting a black screen when I start to drive the screen goes from black to half black to sometimes normal cannot figure it out. I tried changing with fov from default and everything in between no luck. I tried different tracks no go if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. Thanks
I have posted update 1.5 today just a few small improvements to the sound and to fix the low speeds at Indy looks like its pointing to the wrong engine for the specific upgrade thank zerocool for pointing that out to me.I will also see if any more tracks are ready as I have the Indy lights out of dev now and testing in the sim .I will put some screen shots up shortly. 350kph correct? 350 is more than fine, it can go faster than that . Is there any way to make that steering wheel bigger?
There is, but there is a new high detail model on its way. View attachment 16420 View attachment 16421
I moved the seat all the way forward and now I don't get any more black screen. I downloaded latest version I still have the problem with no power above 3rd gear at Indy.
Wow!!! I felt real stupid so I checked to be sure I had the speed limiter turned off. I asked myself, "what kind of driver would try to drive at Indy with the speed limiter on"? I was going to retire and let a younger driver take my place on the team. LIMITER OFF I still have no power in 4th gear at Indy. Kentucky car runs great, power in every gear.
