I have recently noticed that ambient sounds (crowd, announcers, etc), do decrease the frames considerably, especially in race.

It would be good to have a system that could cancel it depending on the choice of circuit quality, like with the visgroups and objects.

    Thanks.

Is this not what the "number of sounds" in the audio menu is for?

This softens things but does not solve it. Even with this option the minimum option (8) there is a loss of frames.

How do you know it's the sounds doing it?

Because I've done tests with and without environment sounds.

It seems that the problem is to put too many sounds. Only a few do not affect nothing, or almost nothing, but put too much is a bad idea.
