Do a quick search here - you need to point the data path to your rF2 installation folder again. Do the same for mod manager.

    Hey Guys,
Installed fresh Lite 910. Since that the mod manager stops working. When i klick in the launcher Win 7 tells me that it has stopped working and will beclosed. Any suggestions on that.

It shows two windows. Here are the details of each:

    Problemereignisname: BEX
    Anwendungsname: ModMgr.exe

    Problemereignisname: APPCRASH
    Anwendungsname: ModMgr.exe

Edit: Solved, had some bad rfmod file in packages folder.

Around 1,2 gig. I tried OpenTrack instead of FreeTrack and now everything works fine! :) I still prefer FreeTrack though...

I just did a clean install of 910 and on first run the UI is 4:3 i.e. not set to widescreen. I can't see any way to change this other than manually editing Config.ini and setting WidescreenUI=1 (default is WidescreenUI=0). There's no longer a widescreen option in rF Config or in the in-game video settings screen.

    Surely this isn't intentional?

I appreciate the regular updates, I do not think it is a good idea to put it out Sunday morning though. Most of the races are at the weekend, there was no important fixes, it just causes unnecessary disruption for very little gain indeed. Why not just wait until Monday next time?

This crowd kills me. Just be happy things are updating faster than normal.
I know they work hard to fix things and add new features constantly and it is hard to get stable releases out to the public as fast as they do.

How about you give them your phone number and they can call you to double check if ANYTHING they do conflicts with your schedule lol.

edit: Oops I'm too slow, haha

Have you tried Open Track? It can use Pointracker 1.1 and the Freetrack 2.0 game protocol, and it works with 64 bit rF2.

If you read my post you can see I was happy to receive the regular update, it's the first thing I said. It's a simple thing, hardly the end of the world either way. But there is not as many people racing this sim as any of us and probably ISI would like, there is clearly little to gain by fragmenting the already limited number of players and servers across a mish mash of multiple builds any further on the what is the busiest day of the week for almost no reason. There was no critical fixes or serious developments, if there was it would have been different. Seems impossible to make reasonable and sensible posts on this forum without attracting smartass replies every time, cracks me up :p

    There was a critical fix:
    Fixed multiplayer race rejoin.

This is critical for Endurance leagues where if a player gets booted (for whatever reason) they can safely rejoin.

Ah I see. Well despite the pettiness and sarcasm, I did see a endurance series starting that day, maybe they got it out for their benefit which is commendable.

I'm using it the last couple of days, but I didn't know it was 64 bit compatible. Just tried it and it works! Thanks! Problem solved. :D

Which ones were bad?? Many of us have this problem starting with Build 906. I thought ISI was trying to fix something, not that it was a bad rfmod.

Generally, people running leagues should have no problems with updates. When you announce a race, you simply state that you will run it on version <x> and you stick to that choice. Any league member who will update will have to roll back before the race.
Of course if update comes soon enough, you may decide to go for it and inform leaue members of new version selected for the race.

In the end, it's up to you. You're not doomed to follow ISI's schedule.
