Today we are pleased to announce the 2015 Season 1 Calendar for the V8 Supercars Racing Series! For this first season, we shall be using the FVR 2012 (aka old gen) V8 Supercars Mod for rFactor 2 – should their COTF mod become available before the start of the season we shall switch to that platform. We’ve chosen rFactor 2 for a fresh start and a new challenge for all drivers (and racing staff!). The cars are easier to drive in some respects but also challenging, as with rFactor2 if you punish your tyre too much, it will make you pay later. Another interesting change is that you can adjust the anti-rollbars on track which adds a further tool to tune your car throughout the race. With a dynamic track and weather based on real forecasts (although we shall forego rain for the moment), there is a lot to learn and love with this platform change. Starting mid February and totalling eight rounds, drivers shall visit five countries and three continents across 4 months with races every two weeks.
