Wonderful when real life and simulation meet and both sides benefit - as in this case. Thanks for joining us at this forum.
Unfortunately I have no idea at all how moving each mirror alone. Obviously both mirror together can be adjusted as well as the seat and its range matches the dimension of the cockpit. If someone knows what I must do to have also the single mirror adjustment I'll be happy to add this feature!
While generally not my cup of tea, this is looking great. Super job Slow Mo. Can't wait to try it out.
I found this: use Shift+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust all mirror reflection heights use Shift+Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust mirror reflection note: these physical mirror position adjustments are for the in-cockpit center mirror only Left Mirror use Ctrl+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust left mirror reflection Center Mirror use Ctrl+Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust center mirror reflection Right Mirror use Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust right mirror reflection //Edit: rf2_modding_car PDF: http://imagespaceinc.com/downloads/rf2/modsresources/rF2_car_modding_complete.pdf Chapter 11 seems worth, to have a look into
Jurgen, I'll investigate, but keys combinations (ctrl+seat view adj... alt+seat... etc) work but nothing happens in game. For this reason I looked without success at some coefficient / line to be added into the HDV or Cockpitinfo files. Maybe command fails because of mirrors must be built in a different way that I do not understand or I missed something.
I was curious again and played around a little bit with my private testcar. And get it working here. Try this: If they aren't already, split the cockpit mirror glas-mesh into 3 parts. 1 for left mirror, 1 for center and 1 for the right side. Then name them: left mirror: [like you want]_lmirror_in.gmt center mirror: [like you want]_cmirror_in.gmt right mirror: [like you want]_rmirror_in.gmt and put 3 new lines for them into the cockpit section, (don't forget to remove the old entry ) It should work then.
Ah cool I Iove testing / re-visiting cars in rF1 before they are released for rF2. I'll have to give that a go.
this is a new one and I like it so much, as well as some of the others. Now I'm thinking to replace the first one style (the monotone) of the Custom class with the Trackday... View attachment 15510 View attachment 15511
