We run multiple servers from different install folders (not instances from the same install folder). Mod manager despite changing both the working directory and the packages directory to the next install of rf2 906, the installed location stays at the first installed rfactor 2 906 not the next one. It won't change no matter what we do. View attachment 15197 Is there a way to resolve this?
Hey, Just had some issues with the mod manager as well... If you change the Working dir in the mod manager to install mod on another server install. I get a lot off "corrupt" mod installs. (Click here) - Start working form the Launcher from each server install. - Check the data path - change it to the correct server install (Click here) - Then launch the mod manager from within the Launcher You can change the "packages folder" if you have a common packages folder for mods.
There is another thread about this--it affects single player, too. A dev is working on it. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/22972-Launcher-Crash-When-Closing-Mod-Manager
If you change the working directory back to where it was before do these multi cmps still show as damaged? If so, are they useable in game?
I ran into similar problems. I had two installs of rF2, both had a shortcut on the desktop. After updating one instance 1 had no problems, after updating the second one, I had lots of problems with the mod manager, corrupted mods, no installing, even with the correct paths etc. pp. The solution was simple, the update process reset the desktop shortcuts, they both pointed to the same folder. With that repaired, everything works fine.
Yes, ingame or on server everything is ok. Changing the working dir from one server to another are still giving me these messages. Data Path or install folder is correct. (It wasn't in that picture) - clicking on the refresh button doesn't resolve it. When we change the working dir to install mods on another server-install: - we close the mod manager - and open it again. Then it shows the correct mods installed for that working dir. When we delete a Vmod: +/- same problem. Vmod is still shown in the mod manager. - refresh doesn't work - closing and opening the mod-manager - then it shows what is installed or not.
