The few things that were spoken about much in autumn Q&A are not included in this build either, which is a bit disappointing. Nothing mentioned about stock car rules, no update of dedicated prototype server, meaning online join process is still the same (having to download all tracks in rfmod). New launcher and some bugfixes are interesting though.
Thanks for the update ISI. Can't get to this for a day or two. If anyone could post a before/after shot of the Gamma/Colour changes, it would be greatly appreciated.
Nice so far, had to reset pedal calibration for some reason . Accelerator was only giving around 60%. strange
Updated by launcher tab update No problem, the new launcher is ok for me. Ran a quick race with AI driving and didn't notice any problem, FPS same, look OK for me, need more tests with rain and behind the wheel, but all seems working. Next tests the online (dedicated and connection). Thank you ISI, now waiting on the final tire model with Nascar and the dedicated prototype server to become official with the options buton available and working on it to get a reasonable game base for serious and easy configurable online racing.
Found one small bug If you tick the checkbox "dedicated Server prototype", the selection is not saved in the launcher while if works for "Auto Close Laucher" or "Dedicated Server with Console UI" (Option is still activated the next time you start the launcher). Thx for the new build ISI
There is small change of gamma, cannot notice any color changes (b880, b906). Cockpit overexposure is seemingly a bit worse now (b880, b906). I'm more interested if some of the often mentioned HDR bugs were fixed (purple artefacts on dark areas etc), will test more later.
Looks like it's lost a small bit of that greenish tinge now, with the outside shot. The inside one though, make sure you have the same amount of clouds in shot if possible. They could be affecting the overall lighting.
As would any usage of complete black in cockpit. It would pull color away from brighter areas. Car maker error (for us and modders, when it happens).
Something is wrong with aspect ratio. Fresh install and it looks like i have 4:3 http://s11.postimg.org/p66apcx8z/image.jpg
They made it i bit better but these purple artefacts are still there. For that reason i use a custom HDR profile which i changed a little bit. With this i don't have any artefacts. Here is a link to it: http://www.mediafire.com/download/o7az2xzamzyp1hs/TrueLightsUltraHDR.hdp
I posted about this on 1st page. Add 1 to widescreen ui in config.ini Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
