Move you topics where they belongs : http://isiforums.net/f/forumdisplay.php/131-rFactor-2-Leagues-Private-Racing
This is not a private racing server or a league racing server plus if I move the thread there nobody will read it. Btw at first I opened this thread there but somebody moved it here.
Nobody does this way and that's the problem. But if this initiative fails I go away you can be sure. then we can say I guess rF2 online pub is really dead (at least imo).
Yeah, by all means, give the man who's trying to liven up the public online racing a hard time. Christ what an attitude... Maybe you should report this thread? Since it's obviously very traumatic having it in the 'wrong' part of the forum.
I don't see any ISI forum admin tags to justify his attitude but then again, given the level of his regular posting, I don't think that'd ever be the case. If you're really ever so inclined just click report on original post and offer your argument.
Oh boy I just hope that this thread will be moved to the darkest most hidden part of the forum where nobody will ever see it again...
looool +1 Man if I had a decent line and traceroute we would have heaps driving in my room. Like I not being a egohead mate I think it is the truth, we can always bang up to decent numbers ( had max 8-10 in a few days last week I was back ) Problem is the bad ping- lag so 3/4 of those do not return is all it is then we get new faces and it repeats I had guy say nicest thing the other day " DD that is the best help I had in 13 years of sim racing " loool My philosophy mate is we have too much content to sustain open rooms. I know iRacing is online only but when they started they had a handful of cars and tracks and slowly added content as per numbers warranted. Today they have less content / combos then any ISI sim has ever had, if they only catered to a few thousand how many combos would they have added. My way of thinking they would not add more combos then would dilute grids too far. I think only way open rooms would be more popular is to have less rooms, less content and enforced rfmod's
One rookie/open room I think would be interesting is " All Historics at Italy10K " lool On a serious note people could learn to lap "lemans" p style, in so varied power and passing. ie: 135mph vs 200mph + Not just rookies, pros too. and force the tyres and fuel up to demand pitstops. All this stuff is important in mixed class racing and barely gets practiced. You do that I will stop doing dounts in that room and will be 100% serious 100% of time and shutup !! . lol edit: Keep in mind you would need minimum 20 drivers willing to split into say 3 classes With 30 drivers you could use 5 class aka F1, F2, F3, BT20, Howston....... toss in Lola for good measure. p
Durge stops doing donuts and doesn't end on top of tall buildings..? That'd be the day lol. Btw love what you're doing with that rookie server man. Actually one of the most sympathetic and kind things I've seen in online racing. I remember you coaching me while driving my heart out at historic Spa in the F3. Your tips worked and it shaved seconds (!) off the lap time. Good stuff mate. rF2 online ftw!
Looks like this thread is pain in sy's neck... they moved this thread to the server section but they forgot the other thread.
Oh Howston and Lola would win night I think ? parts of Italy10K can get pretty dark ? lool Serious note .......simulated night with Howston and Lola be fun at Italy10K too. "Lola at Longford Dusk to Dawn" rfmod is one of best, most immersive experiences I have ever had in a sim full stop..............and we never even did pit stops. lol
