So I can make the "milky" clear coat go away on track by reducing the alpha layer to about 50 on about all colors except black or real dark colors. Can anyone explain how to finish the skin so Black is Black? They look great on the showroom but lousy on track. I use Paint.net to make up the skins....... Thanks
I have noticed that for some reason paint.net auto changes the alpha layer to white, dunno how to fix it. I also use paint.net, just only for speed painting and then i use photoshop to touch everything up and sort alpha out
So if the alpha layer was black instead of white the color would show through better. I get it. I treat the alpha layer as sort of a "clear coat" on the object.........Makes sense the white alpha would "milk it up".....
