Ah ah ah so funny, I do it too Oh, you mean: racing glove on his foot? something like this ? View attachment 14557
Mainly socks but shoes with thin soles when driving historic 60s cars heel&toeing or when there's endurance races. And kart gloves for "important" races too
That type of Pumas but black/white/grey and for the left foot only. http://www.777puma.org/images/Puma-Racing-205-Shoes-Black-Silver-R_1.jpg
Sparco K-Mid Karting shoes. Overkill but they're awesome. I used to race in socks until I had to use a week holiday before our year-end so I figured... fine, I'll sit at home and simrace all week! Well, with stock G27 pedals, by day 4 or 5 I could barely walk. The problem wasn't so much the brake spring as it was the fact that I use just the side of the ball of my foot on the brake pedal. Since using the shoes, no problem. Now I have a hydraulic brake and there's no way can can race without shoes. Maximum braking takes a lot of force.
I'm a water shoe guy too. Cool in summer & warm in winter with a light pair of socks. Great traction for heel & toeing and sensitive thru the light sole. They're "go fast" blue ;-)
I'm surprised these haven't been mentioned-->http://www.fasttracksims.com/rubber-sole-sim-racing-shoe/ I wear these and love them, I wanted a shoe that could slip on an off easily. They fit me good and work great, I recommend them.

Pic of you with those shoes and a panel saying "I made this photo for rFactor 2 Forum" with a newspaper showing today date, or it didn't happen
When I used to flight sim ( I had a full sized fully functioning 737 cockpit ) I used to chuckle at some other guys who owned and dressed in the captains pilot uniform. One guy even had his wife dress as an air hostess and bring him tea on long haul flights lol And you think we are a crazy bunch. I once saw a you tube video of a chap racing at his desk on rf1 dressed in a full flame retardant race suit, full face helmet, gloves the works. Funny.
