The fw14b was the car Williams used during the 92 season. The only issue i see would be that the 92 mod uses league physics while i believe the new fw14 will have historical ones. You'll have to see how they match up. Worse comes to worse just use the new model with the old physics, not a big deal to do.
For what it's worth... I tested a bit for offline tonight. The '92 ASR Cars are all a bit faster than the '91 McLaren and Ferrari. Which don't match well either, after the last physics update to the Ferrari at least it's now slower than the McLaren - which I guess also will get new physics. So that's all in flow right now. . But that's not a problem really, because using he AI% you can easily tune the AI cars to closer match the speed you can set in the detailed '91 car. So yeah, in sum total it's quite fascinating to take the beautiful McLaren (think of it as an MP4/6B) or F643 we have here, and run them against the '92 cars. It looks believable even as you drive next to your teammate, it sounds believable, it's a blast to enjoy the more detailed cockpit and driver animations while battling as many opponents as your PC can handle. Of course an entire set of cars done to the new quality level would be the most killer thing ever, but honestly that are man-weeks or months of work... ASR is now providing the best single-player "full grid/season" experience to be had in this sim. It's the first time for me it actually feels like true racing and not the clone army.
I Absolutely LOVE This Car! Video: Outstanding Audio: Outstanding Physics: Outstanding If I had to change ONE thing, it would be more aerodynamic settings (wings) Maximum is currently 20 front/10 rear
Shamrock said exactly what I feel. This mod breathed new life into rfactor2 again! Another cup of coffee already flying to You . //sry for my bad English....
Thanks for the update, Sderenno . Any possible future update on car's reflection (overly bright and reflective) or driver gloves (too unlike cloth)? I cannot wait to drive more especially when my replacement (larger and super sweet PLS) monitor arrives!
Regarding reflections... on some tracks it's nice, on some a bit much. I think it could be related to 3rd party tracks... tried on Estoril, looks spot on.
I know things vary quite a bit by track but it's important to use current standard work. In rF1 modders would use Essington to check certain properties of their work, Estoril is regarded as very old tech and is not the standard baseline for going forward.
is there an english version of the donate page? Also any plans allow to turn off the head movement or tune it down...
Or preferably make the exaggerated head movement a tuning option and use "ISI normal" settings as the default. Some people like the extra head movement, so it should be an option. Even if it is the default as long as there is an option for normal, everyone will be happy.
At the moment 50, because i am limited to a small screen for now. But what has that to do with it? FOV-Settings is a personal choice between "realness" and good visability, but does not change headmovement per se. Only that the result of course is different.
Great mod-- very high quality. One question... is the downforce too high in version 1.2? It seems to corner very very quickly with default settings--- some 160mph or so at Silverstone International turn 1 seems too fast, or am I wrong?
