Thanks for the skins, they are an awesome addition to an awesome mod. I have a silly question that may have been answered, but is it possible to create a car set of select cars from these cars to create the same group of cars to race against at various tracks. As I understand it, becuase there are more cars in this mod than there are spots at any given track, the AI opponents are random at each track. I wanted to know if I could create some type of mod or carset by selecting say 5 of each vehicle so that I can just select that group every time I want to race on a track where the end result is that no matter what track I select, the same cars are my AI opponents. Thanks for the input.
If you want to add specific AI on track, you'll need to add them manually 1 by 1. - Select no AI to do a race weekend. - in practice click on the arrow next to AI. - click on the cars you want to add. Write them dow on a sheet of paper if you want to add the same cars next time. Something that is not possible. But if a lot of people want it. ISI could look into it... /callvote addai <Name> So you could make a addAI.ini batch file with the callvotes with all the AI. You put "/batch addAI.ini" in the chat window and all your AI's will be added... But i guess this is a feature to add in the rF2 wish list ...
I haven't heard anything from RJames so no news about the remaining four GT cars. In the meantime I worked on the LMP2s: View attachment 17613
@Ethone stuning skins as always mate! Is there any plan to release them to us (even without RJames input)? i would love to race with actual liveries
I'm currently working on the #67 and will be packing up the EGT ones (no P2s yet, need some chrome update for the KCMG first) after that.
Hey guys great skins and thanks for your hard work. Just updated RF2 to v998 and now all the skins have gone? Reinstalled 1.97 URD default and works fine without the skin pack, any ideas. Thanks Mark.
Really? I didn't think new builds would affect update packages. I'll check, thanks for letting me know.
I can only see the C6.R and C7.R when running the original 1.97 packages from URD, so even without the skins the Darche, Ferrucio, AM and Bayro don't show up. Can someone else confirm?
Ethone, same for me I had to uninstall the other 1.97 cars and then reinstall in packages folder to see them in game. I've tried adding the skins afterwards and then the complete cars disappear in game, very odd!
"Ethone, same for me I had to uninstall the other 1.97 cars and then reinstall in packages folder to see them in game. I've tried adding the skins afterwards and then the complete cars disappear in game, very odd!" Yes, exact scenario for me as well
By Tim in another thread: AFAIK mod updates haven't been officially supported for a long time. We stopped using them years ago. Could be wrong, but I'd assume that's the issue with using them. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/26151-ASR-F1-1992-mod-doesnt-work-anymore-after-patch?p=380959&viewfull=1#post380959 Maybe it has something to do with that.
Thanks for the pointer. That would be a rather bad move. Also, how exactly do we know what's officially supported and what isn't was there a memo I didn't get?
That is disappointing. Really enjoy these real skins with the URD mod. Looks like the other option is the Virtual Rides method shown earlier in the thread although it does lose the WEC etc tags and looks rather complicated?
Yeah, I will have to take another look at that and see how far I can take it I guess. I'd be really disappointed if it is indeed a discontinued feature.
