    FIXED...

After doing upgrade I now get a message that" Direct3Dcreate 9ex.dll d3d9.dll" I have to hit OK to this about 5x and then it goes into the sim, but after about 5 min of racing it crashes...

    Any help appreciated.

You have a rogue plugin/dll in your core folders. Possibly something left over from before we introduced 64bit and changed the file structure. If you have an rfactor2/plugins dir, for example, that directory should no longer exist.

Can't really find where to post this question, so I'll do it here. Build 860, is it me or what, I don't see the Car Select button anymore. Other than that, 860 is working fantastic. Been driving it all day without a problem. On and offline.

A couple of guys in my league are reporting the same error. I'm working with them to find a solution... a modified d3d9.dll is part of the TrackMap plugin so maybe a connection? I use TM and have no problems though.

Slight varation for one guy though:

I'll pass that on to my league and see what they say. That could explain why I'm not affected. I do a custom Nvidia install every time and deselect all the stuff I don't need (3D, HD Audio and Experience).

The weird thing here is that their rF1 installs are also being affected.

We saw this with our league members on Friday. All had updated to the latest nvidia driver release on Friday.

Once the rolled back to the previous version they had no issue

As a data point, I did not upgrade to the new drivers. Could it be that there is a new rF2 "profile" in this latest version Experience that's causing a problem?

Same problem here too, as it leaves the error message if I give him several times to accept the game launches normally and everything works.
This only happens to me if I run rf2 in 32 bit mode.
No error message in 64-bit mode.
I do not want to uninstall gforce experiencie because I record some races with shadow play who has to give some solution nvidea or ISI?
