My Google Drive assets have shrunk because one user on the Assetto Corsa forum disliked that his assets were going to be used for sims other than Assetto Corsa. Sharing is caring..... apparently.
Looking for more donations of textures, objects and advice.... any car/track makers with things to donate for everybody else's benefit?
Thanks for this Woodee, I'm just starting to dabble in 'noob modding' again for rF2. It's shameful that the AC modder doesn't want his stuff used for rF2 modding. Maybe he's scared about what rF2 is capable of
Thanks Dylbie I don't really have the time for those people... it doesn't matter to me what sim this stuff makes it in, the modding pipelines are getting more similar over time it makes no sense to separate. Anyway.... request still stands
Here's a cool new "software" that I imagine modders here will really enjoy. I haven't tried it yet, myself (I just found out about it 2 minutes ago It's not "cheap" (read: free) but it seems to easily be worth it from the amount of time that it will save. http://www.cgchannel.com/2016/04/artomatix-launches-materialize/
HANGOUT while you mod.... learn from each other. Perhaps you are stuck on modding something specifically? Let's put our virtual heads together and HANGOUT http://tinyurl.com/racingsimmodding
Hello is it possible to also have modding tutorial to the interior of the cars? I see nothing about it. How should we proceed? Be it a blue print? Thank you.
I'm collecting together modding help documents in a Facebook group... there may be something there to help you, if not you could ask the other members in the group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RacingSimModding/files/
Thank you I can not find what I wanted. I want to know the step to create a cockpit. I preferred the answer is published here to help other people. For example, after a conversion of a rF1 mod, how improve the graphics of the cockpit. I do not try to do as well as URD, but improves and I see nothing about it. Sorry for my English, I use google translate
Blender is free and open source. Blender can UV Map, join and split objects (3DS export from 3DSimEd), increase mesh density, among other things. I have been doing some videos for people. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyeT3j_qFS1b4VecpGddZwVLEmaunE2jo
As there has been a resurgence in members collaborating... just bumping this thread to help some peeps.
