Game crashes when launching

Hi,
I recently installed rFactor 2 on my new computer, it has a GTX 760(340.52 drivers), i5@2.8GHz, 8 gb of Ram and running windows 8.1.

For some reason the game just crashes when I try to start it. The launcher starts fine but when i press "single player" I get the small loading screen and then it crashes after 10 sec with "-rFactor 2 has stopped working".

Does anyone know how to fix this? Game worked fine on my old computer.

I tried reinstalling both the normal build and the light build.

 

Did you install any cars or tracks? Any plugins?

 

9 times out of 10 when rF1 or 2 crash on game launch for me it's a plug-in. The worst offenders are GPU monitoring programs with OSD data displays because they can conflict with any other overlay plugin (for example TrackMap or TeamSpeak or Mumble).

 

Motec plugin can cause startup crash, especially on a new PC/install with different folder permissions. As an example

 

Nope, tried installing just the light build.

 

I tried deleting all plugins in the plugins folders.(rFactor2/Binxx/Plugins) Still didn't work.:/

Solved with latest build. Uninstalled everything, deleted all files and installed latest from fresh to a directory directly on C/.

Game looks great on my new rig.
