    Hello!

    I'm working on a track and wonder if there people working 4WD cars and if it's possible to make it work on rF2.

    I try to change a parameter (i don't remember the file sorry) from "REAR" to "FOUR" but nothing change...

    Hi benmttf,

    To answer your question, what you want to set is Wheeldrive=FOUR and add parameters for adjustability, typically after the diffpreload setting:

    RearSplitRange=(0.70, 0.05, 6) // Torque split to the rear, defaults to 25%
    RearSplitSpecial=(0,"","RWD","")
    RearSplitSetting=0 // 50:50 if these entries aren't here.
    Pump4WDEffect=( 1.0, 1.0, 1.0) // Effect of various diff settings on
    Power4WDEffect=( 1.0, 0.0, 1.0) // the center diff, then the front diff,
    Coast4WDEffect=( 1.0, 1.0, 1.0) // and then the rear diff. Sorry, no
    Preload4WDEffect=(1.0, 1.0, 1.0) // separate settings for each diff.

    Seems to be some carry-over from rfactor1/g-motor2 and it does work quite well. I've noticed however during testing that the front tires on any AWD car will tend to overheat and wear quickly - also anything torque balanced to much over 30% front will have increasing understeer. It may be just from the tire compounds or suspension/load transfer settings, but I'm still working that out for now. In any case, those are the params, the rest is fine tuning.

    Good luck + happy modding!

    Awesome! Glad I could help out - feel free to ask anything else also! I mostly do testing and setups, fun just getting the cars to work better.

    There is already a turbocharged AWD Megane mod out there.
