that teaser was tough as I haven't done much stock car racing. I am really looking forward to learning some new skills.
Tim, I will say a good track to get out early, if it isn't already in the works is Michigan International Speedway or maybe California, but CA is a little more flat in the turns, which the turn 2 wall on exit can prove a little tricky. MIS is a very good track that is very fast and I use it a lot for newer drivers. They usually learn the importance of drafting like at a SS, but you also have too "drive" in the turns. Meaning you generally have to learn to lift off the gas on entry of the turns and not just keep the throttle to the floor like with a SS. Then you just need to explain to them that at smaller tracks the need to lift and/or brake on entry becomes more important. Just a thought I guess...
Judging by the screenshots, the only thing similar to Pikes Peak Raceway, is the word Peak. All the rest, specially the oval and it's grandstands are very similar to Charlotte.
Glad to see updates. However im no fan of stock catrs but i know they can race road circuits not just ovals. Can these?
I would think like the Indycars that have different vehicle configs, that the same sort of thing will happen with the Gen6. Would be a bit silly otherwise.
Same config, just different different setup from oval to road. I think there is a different size rear spoiler for superspeedway tracks like Daytona and 'dega and of course the super speedways also have the restrictor plate added on to the engine air intake to restrict HP.
