I think that for more realistic braking with the G27 pedals with for example the new F2 Car in rFactor2 the Anti-lock brakes option has to be set to Low and not to OFF.Because the Maximum braking strength of the G27 braking pedal is much much lower than in reality or in a Pro Simulator and totally opposed to the Formula cars in Assetto Corsa, most Formula cars in rFactor2 with the G27 braking pedal are reacting much to sensitive on braking compared to a Pro Simulator or to reality.

    Adjust brake pressure.

Not sure if you watch racing or not but I see the pros locking the fronts at slow speeds in Formula 1 quite often. :)

You can also change the sensitivity curve of the pedals in the control settings.

Yes, sensitivity curve is a great tool.

Yes,but the pros don't lock the fronts by braking with a pressure of only 12 or 15Kg like it is in rFactor2 with a G27 pedal.

Then get some proper pedals, maybe that crossed your mind? ;)

Seriously though, used a g27 for years with f1 mods and heavy braking, just lower brake pressure and don't run with shoes.

Nope, they don't use G27 pedals. Probably not FIA certified.

I've seen things like cutting up a tennis ball and putting it behind the brake on g27 pedals to give more feel. There are plenty of ideas for cheap mods out there if you have a good look around.

The lack of resistance in the G27 pedals is a big disadvantage.

Especially in Assetto Corsa and iRacing with certain cars, I have had to teach myself how to apply, say, 69 percent braking power.
If I accidentally apply 70 percent, the tires will just completely lock and I'll skid to a halt.

Things are better now, after a year of getting used to it, and finding the different settings, both in sim and in the profiler.
rF2 has never been much of a problem for me in terms of brakes though. It's easy to just lower the brake pressure.

I have changed/modified the springs for each pedal, I have added a rubber insert to the brake pedal, I have bought/installed the Bognar G25/27 Pedal adapter & that has made the most difference. < & that's a period, mon
