I can't wait for the next release, great work here! Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't ISI scan this track to within 1cm for rFactorPro?
rFPro is a seperate company, so ISI hasnt got it. Would be great to get it, but I think Tim said, that it is very unlikely to ever see rFPro content in rF1 or rF2
I still think that once all the heavy lifting is done on this track--and there has been a monumental amount to date with lots more left--it may be possible for some very talented folks to fix that one most-offending corner. Those who have the talent to do such a modification should start preparing now For me personally, I have driven so many laps on various iterations of this origin Nords, it almost seems like the real version to me! However, in reality, once the laser-scanned versions get out there, it will be nice to correct the few significant deviations in this one because it has sentimental value. I will still drive this one even if a laser-scanned one becomes available for rF2 because of the blood, sweat and tears poured into this one by the modders.
I think you're right. I will driving this version long after the laser scanned versions are converted to rF2. It will always be extremely special to me.
& it deserves a special name . . . seriously this time (although I did really like "The One Ring") something from the community that that pays tributes to those who worked on it; an absolutely true community effort. Thank you all so very much for this virtual track, & I know I will never get any closer to it than than driving it in rF2
Modified the road materials. Fixed the racegroove for GP track. These are devmode shots. The racegroove is streched over the full width of the track. It's not what you will see in game unless you have a 24h session full of hooligans. What kind of specular reflection do you prefer? blueish? silver-golden?
I prefer the silver-golden too, Tosch. You guys keep upping the beauty of the track so much that I almost prefer indulging in the graphics rather than the driving ;-)
Wouldn't the blue be the more realistic one? Considering the reflection of the dark tarmac and the light?
