EVE Matra F1 mod by Klaasvh and Navigator Download here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iajjczg1nybm0ka/EVE_MATRA_F1.rfcmp Or here : https://mega.co.nz/#!ShJ0WZAL!8wCfN6i_ORMF1UPhHNHm2ts6Vi5PEKBaGLSCq393qj4 Description This mod is a modification of ISI's EVE F1 car. It uses the EVE car shape but is powered by a Matra V12 engine instead of the Ford DFV V8 found in the normal EVE. It is meant to look like the 1968 Matra MS11 but is not a complete accurate representation. It does feature a 2 man team with cars for Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Henri Pescarolo. The idea behind this mod is to add some variation to rFactors historic grid. PLEASE NOTE: This mod should work as a standalone but uses some sounds from the ISI_Eve_Vehicle v1.48. If this component is not installed you will only hear engine sounds. For painters Download the pontoon extension paint template here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/awckmw6mg4zwv6e/EVE%20MATRA%20pontoon%20extension%20template.rar For painting the rest of the car you can use the ISI EVE template. Way cool! Would it be a lot of effort to really get rid of the "Eve" and make a proper historic car out of it?
It's actually part of rf2 iirc. One of the alt-something combos I just can't remember atm. Alt-= maybe? Something like that. And yes, this has to happen, looks and sounds great man
The car is starting to look like a Matra now. Still some work left to do but I'm getting there. Does anyone here know how I can get in touch with the guys who created the CSGT mod for rFactor 1? I need their permission for the engine physics.
I think the CSGT team broke up about a year after the release of the rFactor mod or maybe it was just the track guys that dropped out. You might get a lead over on nogripracing.com in the modding section. Edit: Ah, here's a link that should help http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1120755
I suppose if this car was to be released (pending permissions) it would be a 1969 or later model? It's a shame that we don't have a performance-equal opponent for the Brabham... someone would have to tune up the BT-20 into a BT-24 or BT-26 I guess. The screenshots above look awesome, it's just a shame that with these ISI mods and derivates, we end up in cars belonging to three different years at least.
I've sent NECris a pm over at NoGrip and I emailed Wolferl, so here's to hoping. This car and engine combination never existed in real life. The MS10 was specifically built for the Cosworth DFV and entered by Tyrrel in 1968. Matra Sports used the V12 powered MS11 in 1968 for Jean Pierre Beltoise and Henri Pescarolo. The liveries I'm doing are based on the MS11. In the meantime, Beltoise has joined the track while Pescarolo is still in the garage.
