Maybe I am having a brain fade day.. My subscription expired the other day and for the first time since I ran rf2. Obviously there is no option to check for updates and I remember something along the lines of I will have to do updates manually from now on. OK, I can do that, it's not unlike most of my software anyway.

The problem is where do I find what version I am running? from memory with rf1 it used to show you on the splash or main menu. I can't see it on the launcher, I can't see it on the main menu. I can't find a file in the directory that tells me the version number and I can't find a relevant long that might have it..

Is there a simple way so when I check for updates I know what I am on and if I am behind?

Do you still have access to the Updata tab from the rFactor Launcher. That is where it tells you.

Thanks guys, update tab is gone when you don't have MP subscription.

Funny, I specifically looked for a version.txt file - too many years of unix :) Only looked in the main directory though.

    Sorted.
