Many of us know about that great application that let us merge our replay laps and see where we were faster/slower than anyone else - VCR Merge Can anyone whip one up for rF2? (Looking at you, Mr. Hibbard ) Hopefully shouldnt be too hard. rF2 also uses VCR as the format but the latest VCR Merge says there's an incorrect header.

I believe reason such tool hasn't been developed already is either a) there is not enough knowledge of rF2 replay format or b) replay format changes as rF2 is evolving product, so each new build might in theory break the compatibility.
I don't think the replay format has changed so much that someone with a good knowledge of the format in rF1 couldn't port it to rF2. But I suspect you're right about the format changing and causing the tool to break. I know things have been added to the replay format a few times. Alain would know best though.
I have read that it's not a stored run of info but rather a rebuild of known. it is as though the run was live that is why we can rejoin a replay. the difficulty is with not knowing how the original info is gathered and put together to make a vcr file in rf2 style. I really do miss it though
