Hi Guys ! I'm using this plugin since last year, and i have a question . When i use Tower the F button make me able to chose, for Time, Pits, and gap beetwin players. Is there a way to set the refresh time (like 300ms,800ms..1s) ? Because its to fast, and i think its slow a bit my connexion/computer when i'm streaming. View attachment 19512 Sankyu ^^'
Has anyone managed to play around with the TV plugin and have it so each team has a different color to the drivers name (like the official F1 hud)? I'm struggling with making my HUD look good and yes I have read through the wiki, I'm just not very good at this. Or is anyone has been able to make something decent would they be willing to share? I have another question of how to have the camera move to the driver in first place. I press the '1' key as it says on the wiki but this does not work. Any help would be appreciated!
Hello Gerald, I`m from Formula SimRacing and we recently started to use your plugin. At the moment we are creating a new style. We had to use some tricks to get it working like we want so we had to make every team a own class and a own category. Now I came to the fastest lap widget and noticed, that it only show fastest lap in category, which means in my case, that there are 11 classes with 22 driver. I hope you get what I mean. Is a possibility to only show fastest lap of all categories? View attachment 19740

These are our graphics (SRVN.nl) and it was at first a bit difficult, but with the shortcut-refresh (don't know now that one atm) it works perfectly to align all the bits and pieces. Doing some Photoshop for the graphics, and voila! For next season (after summer break) I want to make something more MotoGP like.

I agree, if some people were willing to share a list would be great. Everything I come up with looks like trash. I also want to know how to have a different colour for each team in the scrolling banner and tower. Such as the F1 official broadcast overlay.
link this in the vehicle class ini to a Driver category.image.color.id=7 than use in the tower or scrolling banner widget this: [Tower.Category] image.id=42 image.color.id=1 in the multi category ini you link a grey stripe as an image like this: image.42.src=multi-category/img/team_stripe_transparent2.png and you have for sure to find out all colors and set them in the multi category ini
Hi, Is there a guide for this plugin? I can do the basics, but don't understand how to reposition a certain widget. Also, how would I go about adding an overlay for sector times to pop up showing the time gap to the next/previous car behind me at each sector point, to be visible for a few seconds? I have tried searching this thread, but can't find anything. Thanks
Okay I see, but even then I don't really understand how to achieve this - I've read the wiki. I have 13 teams in my FV2016 mod but I don't know how to assign a category to each team. Thanks.
I have managed to figure out how to give each team/driver their own category. Like this. [Enrique Ruiz] vehicleClass.section=Franklin vehicle.number=2 [Elroy Wagner] vehicleClass.section=Franklin vehicle.number=1 [Romano Agostino] vehicleClass.section=FUN vehicle.number=3 [Carson Davenport] vehicleClass.section=FUN vehicle.number=4 [Judson Sikes] vehicleClass.section=North Star vehicle.number=9 Which are linked to the vehicleclass. Like this. [Franklin] category.text.color.id=1 category.image.color.id=1 category.name=franklin classname=franklin [FUN] category.text.color.id=1 category.image.color.id=1 category.name=fun classname=fun I tested this in game and it worked as it would use the appropriate text for each team. However I am unsure on how to have it has a different color and how to even shorten the box thing a little bit - so it's like a thin rectangle next to the drivers name in the scrolling banner. I am trying to have a different color for each team. If possible how can I achieve this? EDIT: I've figured how to change the text color - just not the back ground color.
category.text.color.id=1 category.image.color.id=1 Here you can use the colors defined in your overlay.ini (gt, multiclass or own). Ideal is not to use the same for image and text. Other wise its only a box and not text over background.
Preferably I would rather just have the box with no text. When I go to change the category.image.color.id=1 it makes no difference in game, but text does work. https://gyazo.com/441968c204cfa246e119e3ddec09c025 That is what I see. The color changes okay but the background 'box' stays black. I successfully changed Franklin text to green and FUN to black (which is why you cant see text).
You need to set category.name = f1 or something like this. Otherwise you have you have it like lmp1, lmp2 gt, etc. Then you have a lot of class leaders which have their own colors.
But I would need a different category name for each team if I want each team to have a different color - like I had it set?
