My idea is someting like this: http://vakuumracing.com/fl.jpg When some driver makes a fastest lap, shows on screen automatically, independent of the selected driver. But your suggestion is good as well.

ok, i will look to it. A mistake exists in the "multi-category" ui, the air temp and track temp are inverted compare to the background image titles. i will fix it in the next delivery, but you can make the update yourself (text.top and text.bottom) Code: [Weather Panel.AirTemp] available=1 text.font.id=1 text.font.color.id=1 text.left=80 text.top=27 text.right=120 text.bottom=40 [Weather Panel.TrackTemp] available=1 text.font.id=1 text.font.color.id=1 text.left=80 text.top=4 text.right=120 text.bottom=17
Plugin 1.2.0 & Remote Console 1.2.2.0 available - Add Fastest Lap widget : each time a driver beat the best lap in its category, this widget is displayed ..... This widget ini file is very near to the Driver Panel widget. View attachment 13199
Hello, Since long time, i wonder if it would be useful to create an automatic camera management, for allowing broadcaster "to go to bed" (or wathever) during endurance race, and let the camera/replay switch automatically to allow a dynamic broadcast without people behind the PC. Do you think it will be simply a gadget (as there is always someone behind the PC), and so it will be a waste of time, or do you think it could be a really used feature (if the IA is enough smart of course) ?
Gerald I've still problem's if I start the remote console but I'm not sure if I use the tool as expected because I've done my first try's on a local instance (not on a dedicated sever). Could this be the problem?
I think it could be useful for broadcasters that may have to take breaks from the stream. Plus it will cut down the switching they need to do themselves. So perhaps an auto-manual switch so they can take over if they spot something in particular.
I think if broadcaster go to bed most of the views have allready gone to bed a lot earlier. Maybe this festure is a lot usefullier for "one man" broadcaster not having the full overview of the race. It could perhaps automatically switch to overtaking maneuvers/spins/crashes in realtime or perhaps in replay mode
I'm not in near of my pc but I got errors in the console but before I report here a detailed error message I thought I ask you if the usage of the tool (as I made) is ok.
+1 could also very usefull for league races to investigate or analyse race situations from replay if this is supported ?
Remote console crash have been fixed normally. The TV plugin and remote console run on rF2 client side. It is only The WeatherControl plugin who need to be run in the rF2 dedicated server (as for now changing weather in solo clientwill freeze the game)
If it would also work in replays, it would be an awesome tool to make videos to summarize a race and ilupload to youtube. I asked for this as a wish list long time ago. Actually I think it would be easier to select the followed driver once you know what is going to happen (overtaking, collision, fight for position, offtrack driving, pit entry/exit, fast sector/lap...). The camera management in those situations will be quite tricky to program I guess. Maybe for each situation the likelihood of showing one camera or other could be configured. The problem I see is that the cameras for each vehicle are not the same which could be a big problem when different vehicles at the same time. enviado mediante tapatalk
Thanks Gerald! I will add another suggestion... Maybe some pitstops informations like: how many times the driver makes a pit (i think this information can have some bugs, on trackmap have) and when a driver makes a stop show time... somethin like: Driver X makes a stop in 5s. If i can help on development send me a message, im a C# developer.
It will most definetly be a welcomed idea in our league as we run 6 to 24 our endurance races, BCs DO need to take a break once in a while and then others without the remote in hand can continue commentating via the BC TS channel...
