Just finished the Six Hours of Silverstone with SimHQ Motorsports' SCES League. Wow! GT4, GT1 and LMP1s. Castrol Racing had two cars entered, but for my #35 GT-R GT1 one of our three drivers had inet problems so we did the race with just the two of us, in one continuous stint each. After 84 laps and three hours solid in the seat, I'm knackered!! Finished not particularly well compared to other GT1s but the real winner was rFactor2. Not a hiccup and bullet-proof stability-wise. Server used just 800MB for the entire race with 30 cars, 60+ drivers (actually more probably) and numerous driver swaps on Build 660.
A bit tricky first time (like anything) but easy after that. All it is is this: 1. Join server as "spectator" 2. Click on the name of your co-driver in the race UI and press a button for "select". They then see you have selected the car. 3. The in-car driver selects your name from the menu 4. Car pits and after new tyres / fuel you jump in and automatically take control. Easy
Here are some pictures I took. http://simhqmotorsports.com/forum/u...14/Re:_2014_SCES_-_Event_2:_Silve#Post3709714
Very nice. Is there a list of the cars that raced? I see the ISI Camaro which I thought was GT3 class. 370Z is GT4 but what else? Also which SLS is that, and which class? Thought many of those were GT3 cars.
We have a lot of troubles when swaping driver because pilot that left car MAY press passenger button before esc. Earlier Race AI takes control several times in the next swaping driver, like waiting first driver and donĀ“t arrive him. At server disabled AI control, but sure is a bug in rf2.
