    Windows 7 64 bit

Upgraded to build 660 with an over the top install from rfactorlite. Worked fine game ran no problem. (installed in a c:\rfactor2 folder outwith program files)

Exit game but go to run again and get "licence incomplete" error at launcher and single & online options are greyed out.

Upgraded my XP machine and it runs fine so must be a windows 7 thing ... any clues?

Have tried "reactivating" which it says has succeeded but still all play options are greyed out and licence incomplete

    help

I would completely uninstall & delete the install & start afresh with the Lite version only.

Hmmm, all I can then suggest is to d/l the Lite version again in case it wasn't complete. You can also try running the 'Verify' option in the Update tab to see if it throws up any errors?

ok solved it but to be honest not sure how/why?

Symptoms - Build 660 has single player & online greyed out with error "licence incomplete"

Solution - left 660 as is and went back and reinstalled build 590 in a different folder. Ran it all is good. Exit build 590, ran build 660 and licence is good and works fine.

No idea why but hope it helps someone

If you installed rFactor with build 660 it won't active. You need to install build 590 reactivate it and then update. Worked for me :)

I've got this same issue. Anyone know where I can get the previous 590 build installer from? The downloads page doesn't have historical releases that I can see.

Ok googling the right file name would help, fyi it's "rFactor2_ContentBuild_590.exe"

Did the same as above, installed 590 into a different folder, started and activated, waited until the single player etc came into colour then quit and started 660.

Hi, I renewed my membership yesterday, however I am getting the license incomplete message and all of the boxes greyed out. I installed 590 however, this has not resolved this issue. Any ideas guys?
