So I just came across this Macau track for rF2 (probably an old conversion, but pretty good). I've seen races on TV there but I've never driven it virtually before. It gave me a wow-moment I have not had since I first tried the 60's formula cars on old Spa when rF2 was first released. The sense of speed, danger and on-the-egde driving is something I've almost forgot having spent most of my time lately on the more modern, regular F-1 style tracks. I'm currently driving the skippy there, and even that relatively slow car makes me feel like this: Just had to share my excitement
I ran a converted version of this in rF1. It's one of my favourite tracks in a lower powered touring car.
I registered at phoenixracingclub and got it from their forums. They run a URD EGT-mod league I'm interested in.
Its a great conversion by Lestrat I believe. RR and Reflection etc all implemented, not sure of the origins but I think Race 07.
Thank you for mentioning this. I went and found all of Lestrats tracks online (by googling) and I like them all especially Suzuka and Macau. I would never have known they even existed without this post, so thanks again.
It's a thrilling ride every simmer should try. And I agree Lestrats conversions look high class in general, I gotta go get the others myself too. Yikes, just checked a YouTube onboard video. Madness
