The GT-R NISMO GT1 is powered by a NISMO race-prepped VK56DE, a naturally aspirated V8 engine that displaces 5,552 cc. It measures 80.3 inches in width, 186.2 inches in length, and has a wheelbase of 109.4 inches.[88] Displacement: DOHC naturally aspirated V8 front mid-engine 5,552 cc (5.6 L; 338.8 cu in) Horsepower: 600 PS (440 kW; 590 hp) (capped - GT1 regulations) Valves Per Cylinder: 4 Torque: 479.35 lb·ft (649.90 N·m) Drivetrain: RWD Curb weight: 1,250 kg (2,760 lb) (as GT1 regulations) Transmission: Ricardo 6-speed transaxle, sequential shift lever, 5.5” carbon triple-plate clutch Suspension: Adjustable suspension with double wishbones front and muti-link rear Brakes: Brembo 6-piston calipers with carbon discs and pads Tires: Front and rear Michelin 31/71-18 (GT1 controlled specification) GT4 - NISSAN 370Z Nissan’s GT4 spec 370Z was built for winning. Its 3.8l V6 VVL engine boasts an output of 410 hp. This was coaxed out of it through optimised cam shaft profiles and a tuned exhaust, along with a fly-by-wire throttle. What all that means is a hugely performing car: incredible acceleration and astonishing handling. In fact, the Nissan 370Z took top honours in the GT4 Blancpain Endurance Championship, as well as in the famous Spa 24 Hours race. Yet the Nissan 370Z still remains within reach: the road version offers accessible true sports performance. Which is a good thing, since you’ll definitely want to get your hands on one when you see it. The Nissan 370Z looks as good on the road as it feels. Its unmistakable sleekness features the distinctive boomerang lights and powerful curved lines. Everything about the design reveals the soul of the Nissan 370Z: a car made for action and excitement. THE TRACKS SILVERSTONE Silverstone Circuit is a British motor racing circuit next to the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. The circuit straddles the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border, with the current main circuit entry on the Buckinghamshire side. The Northamptonshire towns of Towcester (5 miles) and Brackley (7 miles) and Buckinghamshire town of Buckingham (6 miles) are close by, and the nearest large towns are Northampton and Milton Keynes. SEBRING Sebring International Raceway is a road course auto racing facility located near Sebring, Florida. Sebring (pronounced "sea bring") Raceway is one of the oldest continuously-operating race tracks in the United States, its first race being run in 1950. Sebring is one of the classic race tracks in North American sports car racing, and plays host to the 12 Hours of Sebring, one of the legs of the unofficial triple crown of endurance racing. The raceway occupies a portion of Sebring Regional Airport, an active airport for private and commercial traffic that was originally built as Hendricks Army Airfield, a World War II training base for the U.S. Army Air Forces. LE MANS The Circuit des 24 Heures, also known as Circuit de la Sarthe, located in Le Mans, Maine, France, is a semi-permanent race course most famous as the venue for the 24 Hours of Le Mans auto race. The track uses local roads that remain open to the public most of the year. The circuit, in its present configuration, is 13.629 kilometres (8.47 mi) long, making it one of the longest circuits in the world. Le Mans is a race where up to 85% of the time is spent on full throttle, meaning immense stress on engine and drivetrain components. However, the times spent reaching maximum speed also mean tremendous wear on the brakes and suspension as cars must slow from over 200 mph (320 km/h) to around 65 mph (100 km/h) for the end of Mulsanne in a short distance. Downforce in the era of Group C cars helped braking to some degree but presently cars are tending towards low downforce to seek higher speeds in the face of power limiting regulations. SEPANG The Sepang International Circuit is a motorsport race track in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located near Kuala Lumpur International Airport, approximately 60 km south of the capital city Kuala Lumpur. It is the venue used for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix, Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix and other major motorsport events. FUJI Fuji Speedway is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was built in the early 1960s and hosted the first Formula One race in Japan in 1976. In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. Originally managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Fuji Speedway was acquired by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2000. The circuit hosted the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix in 2007, after an absence of 30 years, replacing the Suzuka Circuit, owned by Honda. After Fuji Speedway hosted the 2008 race, the Japanese Grand Prix returned to Suzuka for the 2009-onward races. Fuji Speedway is known for having one of the longest straights in motorsport tracks, at 1.5 km (0.93 mi) in length.
