That was about running 103 cars... Not running it in general... 32bit will crash when the 4GB of memory is reached... Won't with 64bit, as it is able to utilize more than 4gb of memory.
I see, so that's what he was referring to (100+ cars!), thanks. So essentially, the mod should work in either 32 or 64. I had a crash (bex) while running the mod & rF2 x64, & thought was thinking if it could be mod-related. -via Tapatalk (S4)
BTW, newbie question, what's the difference between VLN, FIA, ADAC, etc.? I understand they're diff race types/categories, but in-game, are they just skins, or are there performance specs different between them for the same car (i.e. 854)? Thanks.
Just skins only in the tuning menu you can change the specs of the cars in case of this mod gearbox and steering lock
Thanks. Yes, saw in tuning menu those can be changed. But I wasn't sure if their default specs &/or performance were different, as there are many classes to compare -via Tapatalk (S4)
Hi @yoss. Using the MAS utility, I extracted and renamed the classes in all 6 car's teams' .veh files, then saved them back. How come I don't see the cars in-game? What could be missing?
hey gijs i think we disable the alt helmet thing , don't remember why and when .may be it s because when we begin to use isi helmet we don't find a helmet Template so we use the old rf1 helmet from our rf1 mod . some fresh news : - we currently working to add cpm thing to the mod - some chassis flex file seem to need one update too - mp4 12 c "kraken" is finished and was surely ready to use when we have cpm thing working - z4 ctd bug definitively resolved - we have begin to rework the rendering cockpit of all the cars , not sure this thing can be finished fastly first one is the sls gt3 ,but i can't say more about this car for the moment .

Wondering about something. Love the mod, but the cars seem to float/hover above tracks an inch or two. Is it just my install or is this common with everyone?
Apex cars only? Or ISI cars too? At what tracks? Screen shot? If all cars (ISI cars too) are floating: Maybe it's best to generate a new player.json file. - cut/past the player.json to your desktop (as backup) (it's in the UsedData/player folder) - start rF2 (it will create a new player.json) - set your graphics settings again - assign your controles again Set your shadow at something but not off. Because whitout shadows cars seem to float on track.
I'm so sorry, I'm getting mods mixed up in my head. I just went back and checked. Your mod is awesome. No problems. Hands down, one of the best. I use the porsche all the time to race in. Looking forward to your update.
