We don't need the very best hardware to run rF2 well with stable 60 fps. I have a outdated board, ram and cpu, but with my GTX 670 2G run rF2 smooth like silk. Here my settings for nvidia user. -Vsync is on, i use 1/2 refresh rate (120 hz Benq) = 60 fps stable /// you have a lower spec hardware than mine and a 60 hz display you can also use 1/2 refresh rate = 30 fps stable, you can look how good it works in game, when it runs bad use "vsync on" = 60 fps -i don't know exactly if you can all settings set in nvidia control panel, i use the nvidia inspector to set my values -you are a ATI AMD user try to find a solution to use vsync via your card driver and play with the refresh rate You have a lower spec. hardware than mine and rF2 runs bad try the follow: -reduce texture detail to high or medium -reduce anti alaising setting to 2xQ or 2x -reduce anisotropic filtering setting to 8x or 4x -HDR off Vsync on cost a bit fps but your graphyc is way smoother, so vsync on is very recommended guys. The last pic is wrong. To use Anisitropic filtering change the entry: Code: Anisotropic Filtering Mode: Application controlled to Code: Anisotropic Filtering Mode: user-defined / off and Code: Anisotropic filtering setting: 16x or 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 12x (according to your GPU power)
We should create a wiki thread about all this, so much stuff we can do, so many tweaks and settings people are not aware off. so many threads/discussions being buried away. Just a raw wiki thread with loads of hints and tips, referring to threads like these so peeps can go in-depth if they want. Maybe useful?
Why is Translation by me not the same as by you ??? Got luncher 1.10... By Settings is the same V2.0 you got Online no probs with Vsync like jumping Cars ( IsR Server ) ? MfG
It doesn't have to be even Wiki, I would pleased to see just plain HTML-document where everything is just listed. I can host the site if needed.
I can later upload here if you want... Have you a account at nogrip? I've modded the file and uploaded to nogrip-->http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=39709
Sure, I can do that in our league-wiki as well. But using the ISI wiki might be more helpful, more centralized and the more we get added to that wiki section, hopefully others will start using it as well. there so much info scattered, and so much complaining about lack of info, yet we seem to fail as a community to make it better imo.
Settings look good , but i think got now more CTD , will later try to change some InGame settings for a little bit more FPS , to much under 60FPS so in full server . Thanks für den link : )
This is a brilliant idea. I would also like to see other aspects of the game covered, like the settings for steering wheels etc. So many people here are testing / trying different things. Improving fixing or just have good knowledge. They often share this, but it does seem to get lost. We could let the community try to maintain this information concisely. The key point being that it is concise
ok, maybe that rF2 runs smooth with these settings, but with ``environement reflections`` deactivated cars are looking very bad.... more like papered toys of an early animation movie. Driving this way makes me more angry than satisfied. btw since last build the ``jumping cars`` on track online keeps me away from online racing. Is the reason known already ???
