Hi all. I developer this mod. I did this mod for two tasks. First, I needed a training mod for real racing. Second, some people have asked me to make a car for beginners. I took the basis for a real racing series in Russia in 1998-2002. It was monoclass on standard cars, only the safety cage, slightly stiffer suspension and close-ratio transmission. Used road tires. Later I'll do a few more versions of this car, maybe one of them will be rallycross car. But it will be after I do my other mod that I started a couple of months ago. This Russian track "Neva ring", it was closed and destroyed eight years ago, but the memory of it remained. It was the most difficult track for driving in Russia. Some people complain about the mirrors. I know this problem. I do not know the reason, but there is a workaround. Open your .plr file and write Moving Rearview="0". p.s. Sorry for my bad English, I use the internet translator.
I'm glad you liked my mod. I did it especially for beginners. Development temporarily paused, but not finished. Will improve the graphics and made other versions of this car. For example rallycross version. But this is after I do my other mod. This Russian track Neva Ring.
Good job ToS, really good job. I would really like some more those slow, but fun-to-drive cars on the roads of rF2 .
Thank you ToS, I have really enjoyed this mod Can't wait to see more if you plan to stick with car modding.
I am sure, if this mod would have a different name ... for example ... like some cute Italian or British car, it would be ease the most popular rFactor2 mod.
You think drunk Russians made Lada Samara. But did you know that them helped drunk Germans from Porsche? )) They improved chassis, aerodynamics and other elements. Small fact, the door handle from Porcshe 924. Even after the release of Lada Samara, their collaboration continued and the result was a Lada Samara T3 for Dakar. One of the drivers was Jacky Ickx. Of course it was a prototype and had little to do with the factory machine. But at various times, a lot of famous racing drivers tried Lada. For example, Juan Pablo Montoya started his career on the Lada. The only Russian F1 pilot Vitaly Petrov participated in LadaCup 2001-2002, and won the most races. His yellow car is in the mod. In real life, this car is still very good for racing. There are only a couple of drawbacks, poor aerodynamics and reliability.
WOW, this car actually is my favorite car in rF2 now. Thanks a lot to the creator and helpers! PS: Could you please change the bumper and bonnet cam so that they don't look into the road but to the horizon (like in cockpit view)? Thanks!
