    What could be wrong when AI suddenly flies off the track without any visible reason?

    I mean, they literally jump to the left/right like if they were hit by a train.
    Well, its hard to see from the cockpit if they hit each other but if would
    require enormous amount of force to send a car off the track like this.

    First I thought it could be bad AIW on some third party tracks but now I see
    it happens in ISI Silverstone too. I usually drive with default 9 opponents and
    during the 25 lap race almost all cars does that at least once. Well good for
    me as I usually win the race but it would be more fun to beat them fair and
    square =)

    I dont know how to save a replay so no video evidence. If any of you are
    experiencing the same behavior, please confirm.

    Hmm.. sounds a little bit drastic to me but I will try it.
    Will the cars go on rails then? Like a pack of robots?

    Anyways, it seems to me they are not making mistakes, no spinning
    or so but they are just flying off the track. When the pack is together
    right after start it sometimes looks like a bunch of fireworks firing
    accidentally =)

    The inertia of the moving mass should never allow the vehicle to change
    direction that quickly, unless hit by a train =)

    Drastic? it's changing one value it's very easy and if yours is set to anything higher than 0.1 then you're gonna have AI randomly turning off the track.

    FYI - that value is "intentional mistakes" so they deliberatley drive into the wall and stuff, "natural" AI mistakes are a rare thing and something I'm hoping ISI take a look at one day and improve upon. Depending on the Mod & Track you sometimes get Spins but it's always at the same corner.

    Yes I know it is a very easy change. By "drastic" I meant, you know what I meant =)

    My value was 0.6, I dont remember if it is the default. Now set to 0.0 but dont have
    time to test it at the mo... Thanks!

    That's ok, Default is 0.0 so that is the cause :)
