Looking pretty amazing! Don't forget to add some wear-and-tear evidence to curbs, grass areas and the like. Those little details are what transforms something from a perfect digital model into something that "feels" realistic.
JKA thanks for the preview pictures I'm looking forward to drive this track ! Damn good work so far alex
To expand on what he said make sure that joining areas have some "grime" around it. lol As beautiful as those structures look in those pics, and they do look great, the one pet peeve I have with some tracks is the area where the buildings meet the ground is "too clean" as if the building was just placed there by a magic hand and not actually built in that spot. I think you know what I mean right?
Yes, I know. Landscape is currently temporary and will get major overhauling when all tso's are modelled and placed. Cheers!
Hi, Unfortunately this project is on hold little while, because I have to finish some rallycross track. Then I can get back on this. I cannot promise any ETD at the moment, but currently I'm working hard and try to finish these projects asap. We are talking about 4 - 5 weeks to 2 months. Cheers!
...or something else... Sorry, it's not public project. When rF2 includes proper gravel support and proper car, I will make rF2 version as well. But this probably will take several months until we are there. Cheers!
Sorry... I had to put this project halt for a while, because I had to build some rallycross track with very limited timeframe. This RX track is now almost finished and I think I can get back to South Shore within week or so. I try to push hard to get SS released as soon as possible. Cheers!
Yes, there is constant progress and I'm working on it every day. I *might* post preview video of this track end of this week or maybe next week. Before I can do that, few things must be addressed like - 80% tso's are done, but I have to model and build textures rest of them - regarding tso's, some terrain modelling is needed too around these objects to get wanted result - rebuild pitwall for proper texturing and AO - terrain AO is not rendered yet, but I need all tso's placed before I can do that - fix terrain blending, which was messed up after recent gmt format update, which required re-export (this is time consuming task...) When these are done (hopefully next couple of days), I will make a preview video. Cheers!
