    Thanks for info, Ales.
Had just checked some YT-videos a few minutes ago, and indeed the C7R sounds equal to the C6R.

    Hi Ales,
did the brakes really last all the 24h races?
At 24h of NOS the gt3 do change the brake pads and discs. But i don't know about GTE at le mans....

Yes/No Depending on driver usually. I've seen GTLM cars run the whole 24 hours of Le Mans on a single set of brakes and others not. Le Mans is a lot less demanding on the brakes than Nords over a 24 hour period.

Guys it's meant that the mod has this long lasting brakes and since we can't change brake disks/pads during a race there should be no discussion if a mod should have a disk failure in 24h racing

Nearly all GTE Cars have to make one "long" Pit Service in a 24h Race where they change the Brake Discs and Pads.
They mostly do this in the middle of the race so its deep in the night non of the spectators really notice it.

Ales was saying the "EGT" cars have already done 24 hour races. He wasn't referring to "GTE" cars. The problem is you can't change brakes in rF1/2 so they need to last the whole 24 hours regardless of whether it's realistic or not.

Nah, I did a little tweaking, much softer springs in the front and a little stiffer in the rear. Also, a little more downforce front and rear

Today i found this strange ?bug?. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or a feature :D

The engine power increases with higher gears :D Is this due to the different ratios or where does this come from :D Never seen this before

stiffen the rear springs to the front niveau set the splitter to 4 and the rear wing to 18-24 and you will have no trouble with understeer.
The standart setup is for absolut beginners.

You must be losing a lot of top speed if you are increasing the downforce? It might help with the understeer but you'd be left for dead on the straights against the AI surely?

    Less drivetrain friction and/or inertia?

Got explanation for that thx to Michael Borda :)

it's not due to different gears/ratio, but speed of air into the car intake.
higher speed forces more air into the engine = more power

Was just about to post that, ram air effect XD

You can see it on some of the non boosted cars in rF2, bring up the dials with the boost meter (GT dials?), and at really high speeds you can start to see the boost dial juuuuuust moving a tiny bit upwards. Then hit the brakes and see it drop off

Less topspeed for sure, but it really helps to keep the front tires alive. ;)

I bet there is a ton of stuff modeled that hasn't really been marketed or even made it in change logs.
